YouTube Competition: Become a Vlogger Today!

Have a spare 15 minutes and a smart phone?

Want to share your career journey or aspirations on our growing YouTube channel? Bag yourself a £30 Amazon voucher!

After the success of our Student Guest Blog Programme, we're excited to announce the launch of our Graduate YouTube Programme!

We're inviting you to take part in our new YouTube Graduate Takeover series and create a video sharing either your graduate career path or your student career aspirations.

How to enter the vlogging competition:

1. Fill in the sign-up form at the bottom of this blog with a few of your details.

2. Subscribe to our YouTube channel.

3. Read through our prompt questions and filming guidelines. Feel free to send us a test video to check if your video meets our requirements.

4. We'll be in touch with the next steps!

Who can take part in the competition?

Whether you're a graduate currently on your career journey, or a student making your career plans, we want to hear from you.

Anyone can enter - graduates and students!

If you are a graduate, it doesn't matter whether you've only recently started your first job, or if you've been in your role for some time now. We want your insights.

If you are a student, it doesn't matter whether you have secured a graduate job before your graduation, or if you're planning out your next career moves. Your advice is still valuable!

Entering the workplace can be tough. Your video could prove to be a helpful resource for struggling graduates and students.

Why should I take part in the YouTube competition?

With so many graduates and students unsure on what career to pursue, your insights will be an invaluble resource and help give others more of an idea as to the career path that they'd like to follow.

Your video will be published on our YouTube channel (with some of our popular uploads having as many as 50K views) and across our social channels, reaching our network of 55k + connections! This is a fantastic opportunity for thousands to learn from your tips, and with your video including a link to your LinkedIn profile, there's the potential for excellent networking opportunities.

Once your video has been published on our channel, you'll recieve a digital certificate and a LinkedIn badge to add to your profile, stating that you've taken part in our programme!

You'll receive a breakdown of how your video performed and its YouTube analytics rankings - giving you an insight into how YouTube metrics work.

We'll also share with you our top tips for producing engaging YouTube videos and how we promote our videos, giving you helpful marketing knowledge to use in your career and tips if you're looking to start your own YouTube channel!

How do I get my free Amazon voucher from entering the video competition?

Once you send us your video, we will check and approve the content then we'll contact you to send a £30 Amazon voucher your way!

When your video is published, we'll share your video across our socials channels, but to gain more traction, we encourage all participants to share their video with friends, family and wider network!

We run 2 competitions throughout the year:

1. The first competition runs from January through to May (winner announced in June)

2. The second competition of the year will be from July to November (with winner announced in December).

The sooner we feature your video, the sooner you can start racking up views!

What kind of video should I create?

We'd love you to talk about your graduate career journey, from what you studied at University, anything that helped you land your new role and what a 'day in your life' looks like in your job.
