With International Women’s Day approaching on the 8th of March, and with the success of our last scholarship competition, Give A Grad a Go have partnered up again with CodeFirst:Girls. We are offering you the opportunity to win a FREE 8 week tech scholarship worth £685!
CodeFirst:Girls are a leading not for profit organisation committed to increasing the number of women working in tech. They are helping to increase diversity in the technology industry by offering training to working women to develop their professional skills and by creating a community to connect women to other like-minded women and companies who can support their professional development.
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic and political achievements of women across the world, as well as raising awareness to the current inequalities women are facing. This year's theme is #EachforEqual, a campaign designed to drive collective action to creating a gender-equal world.
At Give A Grad A Go, we work hard to address this issue, offering tech opportunities, advice and support for women and we will continue to champion this throughout 2020. In 2019, 46% of the graduates we placed in tech jobs were women, and in 2020 so far it is an exact 50/50 split! If you're a student or graduate looking to get into the tech industry, enter our competition today for your chance to win.
- Register on the Give A Grad A Go website
- Comment on the competition post on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn with your full name and the year you graduate.
