Q3 is traditionally the busiest period of the year in graduate recruitment - and this time around was no different.
In the months of July, August and September, we placed 172 new starters at 101 companies, which ranged from startups in their earliest stages, to huge global corporations.
Within the 172 graduate careers we helped to start throughout Q3, there are some key statistics that we are particularly proud to shout about.
For the first time this year, female representation in both the Internet & Digital, and the IT & Tech sector, far outweighed the male. With these sectors being traditionally dominated by men, we are thrilled to have already helped so many women start their careers in tech, and enabled fantastic businesses in these sectors to hire graduates who are female.
Although more placements were made in Q3 than in any previous quarter, our probation pass rate has stayed at an impressive 95%, while our average time to fill a role has remained well below the industry standard, at just 19 working days.
This has been made possible by the hard work of our team. The addition of 4 new Candidate Resourcers and 1 Client Services Executive, plus the promotion of several Recruitment Consultants, facilitated a record-breaking number of placements, and overall, our most successful quarter ever.
Alongside the day-to-day work of our graduate recruitment team, we have also been involved in some exciting new projects this quarter – the most prominent being the recruitment microsite we have built with the world-renowned media group, Dentsu Aegis Network.
And finally - awards season is upon us! This quarter, we have been shortlisted for 6 prestigious awards – including 2 IRP Awards, 3 Marketing & Digital Recruitment Awards, and 1 National Online Recruitment Award - plus being announced as the winner of Best Small to Medium-sized Business at the Best Business Awards!
