Nicholas Church

Digital Manager

I manage the Give A Grad A Go marketing team and take lead on our web projects, digital advertising and technology. I also help to drive decision making and strategy through the use of insight and business intelligence.

My area of expertise

My mixed background in both marketing and technology has given me a broad knowledge base - which is something you need in a small business like Give A Grad A Go. I love managing our marketing and web projects from concept to completion, as much as I enjoy analysing their success and learning how we can improve performance in the future.

Why I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go

After feeling a bit insignificant in my last role, I wanted to find a job that would really let me take ownership of projects. I sent my CV over to Give A Grad A Go to see if they had any graduate jobs that would be suitable for me. The next thing I knew I was in for an interview, followed by a trial day and after that was offered a job. I really didn't think my next job would be in recruitment - but Give A Grad A Go really isn't like any other recruitment company!

The worst job I've had

I once worked as a Silver Service Waiter at a busy five-star hotel, doing split shifts from 6:30am - 11:30am and then 5pm - 11:30pm. It wasn't all bad though as one evening I did get to serve William Shatner a sorbet.
