Job description

In this UX UI Designer role, we are looking for a creative, pragmatic, and adaptable Junior Designer with a strong UI and UX skillset. You’ll have a strong sense of creative solutions and be challenged to own projects as we work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced integrated environment.

Naturally motivated and keen to learn, you'll work on a variety of projects, spanning brand identity, UI design, web, social, print and event activation and have a voice in defining each product’s path. You'll help shape our design culture, internally and externally. You'll have regular design reviews with managers, helping you grow on an ongoing basis, and access to a training budget to help you further develop

Key responsibilities

In this UX UI Designer role in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Great visual culture and attention to detail
  • Capablity to translate concepts into easy-to-understand visual assets that convey the clear messaging
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the client’s needs to purpose creative solutions
  • Able to effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale
  • Have a good sense of hierarchy and composition, from structure to colour, typography, and imagery
  • Able to create both digital and print collateral for brands
  • Follow creative direction, work in a group dynamic, and actively participate on any given project or team to which assigned

Job requirements

  • A 2.1 from university
  • Significant relevant design experience in the industry
  • Qualifications in design, advertising, or equivalent work experience
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and a personal aesthetic
  • Agency experience preferred but not required
  • Positive Attitude; receptive to creative direction and design feedback
  • Highly proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiarity with XD and/or Sketch is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc)
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple projects
