Job Description

In this Sponsorship Sales position, your mission will be to research, investigate and build relationships with new clients. You will work directly with the group CEO and manage a global market, gaining traction with international executives across multiple different sectors. You must have experience in forcing relationships and be driven by relationship management. This event sales role is highly consultative and involves a tailor-made and thoughtful sales cycle, it is essential that you are confident speaking with core industry leaders and negotiating six figure contracts.

Key responsibilities

In this Sponsorship Sales Executive job in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Research to understand the relevant issues for your market and communicate those issues effectively to senior level executives.
  • Creating bespoke and relevant documentation to send out through to potential clients
  • Negotiating commercials and contracts
  • Reaching out through phone, email and meetings in order to create new deals
  • You will be encouraged to bring new ideas to the marketing team and senior management on how to best develop your area of expertise and lead sources further.
  • Exposure to other areas of the business and extra responsibilities from different departments

Job requirements

  • At least a 2.1 degree from a top university – with clear extracurricular achievements
  • Previous experience in sales is a must, you must feel confident negotiating with senior stakeholders
  • A passion for working in start-ups and growing them into established companies
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A mature and switched on attitude
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Initiative and a proactive approach
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • A driven and competitive attitude to work
