Job description

In this Sales Executive role in Cambridge, you will be working alongside the existing Business Development Manager. You will identify new opportunities and customers with materials, chemicals, and pharmaceutical companies. You will engage with new customers and present the key advantages of our technology and our product. A successful candidate would be outgoing, enthusiastic person with a passion for technology and innovation who will help accelerate our growth and give our customers an outstanding experience.

Key responsibilities

In this Junior Sales job opportunity in Cambridge, your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with potential partners over the phone and via email
  • Conducting outbound and inbound calls
  • Feedback customer experience and needs to the development team
  • Creating and maintaining client records within the company CRM system
  • Supporting potential clients during the activation journey
  • Hitting and exceeding KPIs
  • Helping to grow this new branch of the business
  • Attending various networking events
  • Suggesting improvements to internal processes as and when required
  • Involved in the hiring process as the team continues to expand and grow

Job requirements

  • A 2.1 from a top university preferably in a STEM subject
  • A minimum of 18 months experience in SaaS or tech sales
  • Be extremely motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • Articulate, polished, and professional communicator with a good phone/video call manner and excellent writing skills
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset: essential to take full ownership of goals, deadlines, and targets
