They publish highly regarded scientific journals across multiple disciplines, and create and distribute media utilised by physicians across the globe. Due to continued success, they are now looking to add several talented graduates to their London office.

Job description

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, you will be working in a varied and stimulating sales role, which will include many elements of account management. Your main duties will include partnership building with the company’s client base, approaching potential new business, as well as frequent travel to conferences and trade shows, often internationally.

Key responsibilities

In this graduate Business Development Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Sales director and Key Account Directors with reports for existing business and to help to deliver existing work
  • Effectively managing client contacts via the CRM
  • Effectively helping to report on sales pipelines, forecasts and secured business
  • Account managing clients and products, maximising repeat revenue and ensuring overall client satisfaction
  • Maximising the use of key client face-to-face presentations where relevant
  • Being responsible for overseeing effective communications between editorial, production and sales in the fulfilment process
  • Attending face-to-face meetings with clients at congresses and events, and organise and conduct capabilities presentations at clients’ offices

Job requirements

  • A degree from university (Science degrees are a plus!)
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • A strong communicator, both written and over the phone
  • An interest in science and technology
  • Well presented, confident and enthusiastic
