In this Graduate Software Engineer job, you will be joining a disruptive brand experience agency that has been running for 37 years and specialises in strategy, design, exhibits, environments, live events and marketing campaigns. Going against traditional branding, they use innovative techniques to create brand experiences at shows, theme parks, the Mobile World Congress, customer experience centres and virtual events. They are now looking for a Junior Software Engineer to work for a range of top-tier global brands and join the start of a new business venture.

Job Description – Graduate Software Engineer

In this Graduate Software Engineer role you will be joining the product team, you will help develop and evolve their suite of products. Working with internal and external marketing, sales and product teams you’ll help to plan, investigate and develop new features for their suite of tools, reviewing the potential impact of individual client requests on the platform as a whole.

Key Responsibilities – Graduate Software Engineer

In this Graduate Software role, your responsibilities will include:

• Help develop and evolve the suite of tools
• Plan, investigate and develop new features
• Have a customer-centric mindset and get the best out of the product for clients
• Learn new languages and tools
• Review client requests and help adjust the platform
• Write internal documentation for features and systems
• Make recommendations for test scripts
• Understand the product and scale and provide input for improvement
• Build and launch features

Job Requirements – Graduate Software Engineer

• 1 year experience as a software engineer
• Knowledge and experience of Python (Flask, Django, Tornado) and JavaScript (Vue.js, React or NodeJS)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks
• Calm, approachable and personable under pressure and when working to tight deadlines
• A team player!
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work
