In this Sales Executive job in London, you'll be joining an exciting EdTech start-up that is making a huge social impact! This EdTech learning platform provides 1:1 maths tutoring for children across primary and secondary education in the UK. In the last year alone, they have more than doubled the number of lessons being provided and are continuing to scale at pace! They are forecasted to double their revenue next year alongside plans to expand overseas into the US market. Having just secured a multi-million-pound funding round from investors, they are now looking to add a Junior Sales Executive to respond to an increased demand in business.

Job description - Sales Executive

In this Sales Executive job in London, you will have the opportunity to work with a fun and ambitious sales team, passionate about making private tuition accessible to everyone, regardless of background. You will be responsible for building new partnerships with private and secondary schools across the UK.

You will receive ongoing training from the Head of Sales as you learn how to engage with senior leaders of schools across the country, responding to inbound enquiries, delivering product demonstrations and closing your own deals!

esponsibilities - Sales Executive

  • Qualifying inbound leads from the marketing team and building up own personal funnel of leads
  • Arranging and delivering product demonstrations with school and multi-academy trust leaders
  • Arranging and conducting follow-ups with school leaders to close the deal
  • Keeping the internal CRM systems up to date
  • Attending local events to build brand awareness
  • Hosting regional events to introduce senior leaders and teachers to the company
  • Arranging follow-ups at these events to discuss school needs

Job requirements - Sales Executive

  • 2:1 degree from university
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; this role requires somebody who can write clearly and speak directly to senior leaders
  • Ability to build rapport over the phone and in-person
  • Energy and creativity; positivity and enthusiasm are at the core of their sales team
  • Empathetic, with a clear passion and enthusiasm for their mission
  • Excellent personal organisation and attention to detail
  • Willing to work independently as well as in a team, taking initiative to ensure tasks are managed effectively and efficiently
