In this Graduate Presales Consultant job In London, you will be joining an established and highly profitable retail tech startup, which has grown completely organically since its conception in 2014. Its SaaS software is used by a number of retail clients, across 30 different counties, and in 18 languages. With huge clients such as Hugo Boss, M&S, BP, and Specsavers on their books, their cloud-based product helps to streamline store communications, task management, store reviews, and photo uploads – simplifying processes to save time and increase store performance.

This company has recently joined a globally successful technology group who are the leaders in cloud-based technology, so there is a vacancy open on their dynamic Pre-Sales Team.

Key responsibilities - French Speaking Presales Consultant

In this Technical Presales Consultant job in London, you'll be joining a globally successful tech start-up who are currently expanding into the French market following their successful joining of a leading global technology group headquartered in France. You'll be working with later-stage prospects in the sales process, understanding their requirements and preparing demo/proposal materials. You'll be working with both French and English-speaking clients, with the opportunity to travel and develop your career in presales consulting in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities - French Speaking Presales Consultant

In this Technical Consultant graduate job in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Pre-Sales Manager, and collaboratively with the Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Working with both French-speaking and English-speaking clients
  • Evaluating the strength of fit between a prospect’s requirements and the SaaS platform capability
  • Coordinating and supporting the sales process – joining prospect calls, organising appropriate follow-ups, and working efficiently with the CRM system

  • Conducting thorough client research to inform your work
  • Preparing RFP submissions, proposal documentation, and sales presentations

  • Understanding requirements from prospects to put together bespoke and proof-of-concept demos

  • Creating bespoke demos, using appropriate content, and articulating solutions for prospects’ requirements
  • Supporting the handover of new customers through onboarding to the Customer Success team

  • Completing Pre-Sales training and a wider Sales Accreditation at 3 months to learn SaaS 360 sales skills – Positioning, Qualifying, Discovery, Demoing and Closing deals

  • Playing an important role to build out the business' Pre-Sales capacity in France, working collaboratively with France and UK teams to rapidly embed efficient ways of working

Job requirements - Presales Consultant

  • A minimum of a 2.1 degree from university
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Experience using both languages in a professional setting is required
  • Previous experience in a transferrable role such as Sales Support, Sales Consultancy, or Business Development is ideal but not mandatory
  • A logical approach, with the ability to organise and structure information, extract the relevant points and ask sensible questions to clarify
  • Very strong communication skills, including excellent grammar, with the ability to simply articulate complex concepts
  • The ability to write articulately and create engaging sales material in French and in English
  • A high level of attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of excellence in sales materials
  • High level of motivation, with an ability to prioritise and hit deadlines
  • A passion for Retail or SaaS platforms
  • A self-motivated person who thrives in a startup environment and actively seeks additional responsibility and autonomy
