Job description - Operations Manager

In this Junior Operations Manager role in London, you'll be taking ownership of the smooth running of the office, constantly striving to make the working environment better, more productive, and generally an exciting place to work! Not content with that, you will also work closely with the CEO to manage ongoing business operations need and support the commercial/marketing teams. You'll be happy to take on any task, no matter how big or small ensuring everyone has the tools they need to do their job effectively. For the right candidate, this diverse role can lead in many directions long term, focusing on more operational support, admin support and/or marketing support!

Key responsibilities - Operations Manager

In this Graduate Office Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Onboarding and offboarding of staff
  • Taking ownership of supply & purchasing (services, technology, supplies)
  • Escalation point for all office emergencies
  • Helping organise and coordinating with both internal and external events
  • A chance to work on design projects in support of the marketing teams
  • Building initial relationships with charity clients that come onboard

Key requirements - Operations Manager

  • Educated to degree level, ideally with a 2.1 from a top university
  • Experience working in an administrative heavy role is a bonus!
  • Self-starter attitude with a keen eye for detail & design
  • Analytical skills, with a good understanding of technology
  • The ability to deal with people of all types
  • Taking ownership in every aspect of the role
