In this remote Operations, Research, and Marketing Executive opportunity, you will be joining a team of hugely successful recruitment experts, who specialise in sourcing outstanding talent for global companies in the FMCG, Events, Media, and Intellectual Property sectors. The founders of this recruitment consultancy have years of experience as hiring managers at leading companies such as Red Bull and Informa. Frustrated by prolonged and unfruitful hiring processes, they decided to develop their own recruitment business; they’ve built out a team of recruitment experts who know the industries they work with inside-out. Their mission is to access and source the very best level of talent across a variety of vacancies and provide invaluable consultancy to their clients. The success of this media and events recruitment consultancy is demonstrated by the plethora of household-name businesses they partner with, including Jgermeister, Sipsmith, DMG events, and GSMA. They’re looking for an Operations, Research, and Marketing Executive to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities – Operations Executive

In this Operations Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Split responsibilities across Operations, (50%) Research, (30%) and Marketing (20%)
  • Leading on business and office operations to ensure all staff can fulfill their roles effectively and efficiently
  • Managing administration tasks such as invoices, booking meetings and interviews and handling inbound inquiries
  • Leading on office IT systems and providing staff system training
  • Becoming a key contact for suppliers contacts and managing stakeholder relationships with the likes of Reed, The Guardian, and Hinterview
  • Supporting the managing director in ad hoc projects
  • Research support: market mapping, competitor research, industry trend analysis, candidate sourcing and headhunting, new business development
  • Marketing responsibilities: updating the company LinkedIn, blog writing, and social media management with the goal of increasing brand engagement
  • Maintaining the CRM system, data handling, and extracting
  • Generating and delivering company presentations and reports internally
  • Some HR and employee record management exposure

Job Requirements - Operations Executive

  • Ideally, 1-2 years experience within a relevant B2B role (Office Management, Administration, Operations, HR, etc.)
  • A 2.1 degree from university is preferred, but other educational backgrounds will be considered
  • Exposure to recruitment or FMCG, media, events, or property sectors is beneficial
  • A driven, independent worker who is comfortable managing various projects at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully IT literate: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proven research ability; strategic mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using a CRM database
