In this London-based Office Manager opportunity, you will be joining a fresh, innovative, high-impact marketing and sales solution for fund managers looking to develop and expand their distribution efforts across Europe. As a “Third-Party Marketer”, they work closely with a small number of high-quality fund managers from around the world and aid with their asset raising efforts across Europe. As the asset management industry comes under increased fee pressure, the role of outsourced sales and marketing is becoming much more important.

They are a new breed of Third-Party Marketer aiming to bring an institutional quality to the industry. They have raised over $2.8bn in assets for their clients, and believe there is an opportunity to increase “AuM” substantially in the years ahead of building a growing business. As this team becomes ever busier, they need an experienced, focused, and highly organised individual to help keep the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities - Office Manager

In this Office Manager role in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall responsibility for London head office and Geneva office (remotely)
  • Manage service providers including IT, printers, translators, etc.
  • Manage office budgets and process staff expenses
  • Implement and maintain office procedures and administrative systems
  • Manage file organisation on a cloud server
  • Travel and function arrangements for Sales team and company
  • Organise induction programmes for new employees
  • Keep staff policies up to date
  • Manage absence calendar
  • Quarterback administration of recruitment

Job Requirements - Office Manager

  • At least 2 years’ experience within similar roles (Office Management, HR Admin, etc.)
  • A 2.1 degree from university
  • Exposure to financial or professional services environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in using a CRM database (we use Satuit)
