In this Office Manager graduate job, you will be joining a relatively young business that is looking at journalism in an entirely new way. Taking issue with the overwhelming amount of news information that is consumed, they are tackling the problem head-on, by creating a daily mobile edition that allows members to share their own views. Too many newsrooms are chasing the news, but missing the story.

With huge growth plans in place for the next year, this revolutionary startup is looking for an Office Manager to facilitate this growth, by managing the office and the beautiful new newsroom in the heart of the West End.

Job responsibilities - Office Manager

In this Office Manager graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be the first point of contact with the workspace partners
  • Responsible for all day-to-day newsroom queries, such as room bookings, meeting room tech, arranging couriers etc.
  • Managing the news and online print subscriptions
  • Building rapport and developing strong working relationships with clients
  • Setting up and managing a work experience program, along with supporting the Carbon Net-Zero Program
  • Arranging office events

Job requirements - Office Manager

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in an Office Management or Operations role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of H&S requirements and regulations
  • Strong administrative skills and tech-savvy
  • You must be very organised, with strong efficiency skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, familiarity with G-suite and previous experience working in a startup would be advantageous
