Job description

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, you will be a key part of the firm's sales team. You will be responsible for ensuring all sales leads from marketing are identified, qualified and properly handed over to the best salesperson; providing key support to Senior Sales Managers and making initial contact with and arranging meetings with clients. Playing a vital role in growing the firm’s sales, this is the ideal position for a developing sales professional to grow their skills and further their expertise, as well as learning from some of the best, developing essential skills such as negotiation, and professional communication.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with Marketing to generate, identify and qualify new sales leads
  • Where possible, generating your own leads and qualifying them
  • Being the first POC for all new sales leads, qualifying them based on metrics including interest, budget and authority
  • Managing the handover of new leads to the sales team, ensuring that all leads are chased and directed to the correct area
  • Leading HubSpot implementation, ensuring all interactions are reported and insights are being used effectively
  • Providing data, insights and reports that help the sales team close sales
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to their existing customer base and re-igniting dormant customers
  • Supporting at sales events

Job requirements

  • An entrepreneurial graduate who is looking to make their mark
  • Commercial awareness and strong client management skills
  • Experience in Business Development/sales desirable but not essential
  • A personable and intelligent graduate with an excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
