Job description - Graduate Production Engineer

In this Graduate Engineer (Production) job, you will be at the forefront of our client’s latest stage of UK growth. With the support of the UK & international teams, you will be heavily involved in the prototyping of the next phase of products our client is developing, with funding and partnership from the UK & EU Space Agencies!

Alongside that, you will liaise with UK partners and potential production lines to move past the prototype stage and support the team towards mass fabrication and production.

Key responsibilities - Graduate Production Engineer

In this Graduate Engineer (Production) job, your responsibilities will include:

• Working to establish new relationships with potential production lines & partners
• Assisting the management team in the decision on which UK fab house to work with
• Write technical documentation overviewing the production line cycle, presenting this information in regular milestone meetings
• Supporting the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner
• Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labour required

Job requirements - Graduate Production Engineer

• A degree in engineering (Master's degree preferable)
• Interest in telecommunications or satellite engineering
• Experience with CAD software & proficiency in MS Office
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• A self-starter, someone comfortable working autonomously within a framework of support
• Ambition! Someone who is looking to join a smaller engineering team in a pivotal role early in their career

PLEASE NOTE: This is a flexible working role, with offices based on the outskirts of Oxford. You will be required to be in the office sporadically, alongside possible UK travel.
