Job description - Graduate Engineer

In this Graduate Engineer (Certification) job, you will be at the forefront of our client’s latest stage of UK growth. With the support of the UK & international teams, you will be working with national and international agencies and control boards to make sure that all products and services meet the correct requirements and certifications.

Working closely with the production team, you will be responsible for the sign-off of the latest satellite and telecoms products, gaining exposure and experience in the end-to-end product development in the process.

Key responsibilities - Graduate Engineer

In this Graduate Engineer (Certification) job, your responsibilities will include:

• Work towards becoming a technical expert for both National and International standards (FCC, ITU, GVF, CE, IEC)
• Create summary and detailed documentation for review and milestone meetings
• Learning best practice to conduct Technical File assessments against the Product Scheme and standards
• Work with the Global certification team on local programs (auditing, peer reviews, advisory etc.)
• Provide pre-assessment and formal assessments
• Carrying out technical reviews of reports - reviewing client's information and laboratory reports against approval standards

Job requirements - Graduate Engineer

• Degree educated with an interest in telecommunications or satellite engineering
• Highly effective verbal and written skill
• Ideally experience of report writing and reviewing documentation
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• A self-starter, someone comfortable working autonomously within a framework of support
• Ambition! Someone who is looking to join a smaller engineering team in a pivotal role early in their career
