Job description

In this Digital Marketing job, we are looking for an experienced Email Marketer to join the B2B UK Marketing team. You will be responsible for crafting and building engaging email copy for a range of diverse marketing personas. It will be your responsibility to get across the right features and benefits of our highly used software to the right people - via a highly segmented approach - to keep the communication engaging and interesting and to build rapport and trust over time. You will source all components needed for the sends and have the skills to execute on building on-brand emails. You’ll thrive from securing increased open rates and click-through rates with weekly improvement plans to drive leads. Through analysis of the results of the campaigns, you will be able to tweak and improve your craft over time.

Key responsibilities

In this Email Marketing Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching, and liaising with our Marketing Assistant and User Researcher on pain points for each of the segments to ensure a full understanding of the challenges the individual has and the best way we can support them.
  • Communicating appropriate areas and features of our product to individuals at different stages of the buying process, providing enough value and content that they become a Marketing Qualified Lead and are ready for our Education Consultants in the Sales Team to demonstrate specific areas of the product to them.
  • Writing highly effective copy and understanding how to best use content in a variety of formats and media to best showcase our products and services.
  • Working with our Digital Marketer to ensure that the correct email marketing templates exist or are planned so you have everything required for the build on time, every time.
  • Communicating with the wider marketing team about research, campaign ideas and ensuring alignment with wider marketing activities.
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Digital Marketer to create email series as workflows to automate various email activities where relevant.

Job requirements

  • A degree from a University
  • 2+ years experience in an email marketing role
  • Written: Perfect written English (style, grammar, spelling, tone)
  • A highly communicative individual who is able to keep the wider marketing team informed of all activities.
  • Target driven and self-motivated
  • Being flexible and adapting to change
  • A hunger to learn and develop own area of expertise
