Job description - Media Analyst

In this Media Analyst role, you will be sitting in the Consumer Team, which develops an understanding of consumer experiences and opinions for the business. Your role will consist of developing surveys, reports and analysis of consumer behaviours. The ideal candidate will have excellent written communications skills and experience in creating surveys or collecting consumer data previously. The role will develop client-facing functions as you develop, allowing you to broaden your skill base beyond the analytical and qualitative elements. If this sounds ideal to you apply today!

Key responsibilities - Media Analyst

In this Media Analyst job, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with research questionnaire design, testing, management and processing to support Ampere’s syndicated and custom consumer research work
• Working with colleagues to develop innovative solutions to help clients deal with live business challenges relating to content sales and acquisition, analysis of their competition, or business planning
• Assisting with the wider team’s custom consulting work for high-profile film, TV, and technology firms
• Authoring reports and insight pieces that identify important industry trends and support clients’ understanding of underlying market dynamics
• As an analyst's career progresses, they may also take on a variety of client-facing roles, including delivering client-side presentations, assisting with sales meetings and calls, and briefing customers on topical or research issues

Job requirements - Media Analyst

• A 2:1 or above from university
• Experience in consumer research is desirable but not necessary (can be through collecting primary data for your degree)
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills are a must
• Great command of the English language
• Previous experience in Excel, Python or R is desirable but not necessary
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A motivated and intelligent graduate who doesn’t shy away from a challenge
