The worst job I've had

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, you will be working closely with the sales and solutions team to capture new opportunities for the business and drive growth. With training provided, you will be originating new leads as well as working proactively to capture sales and marketing information for the company. If you are a highly driven person who enjoys forming new relationships with others as well as having an active input in the growth of a business, this is the ideal role for you!

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the marketing team to drive through leads
  • Gaining a full understanding of the SaaS product and keeping up to date with market competitors
  • Helping to support partners to be able to facilitate sales
  • Presenting and pitching to potential new clients
  • Building and manage your own pipeline and keeping your manage up to date on movements
  • Approaching new leads through phone, email and social media

  • A 2.1 or above from a Russell Group university, ideally a BSc based degree
  • A hardworking and self-motivated personality with a drive to succeed
  • An authentic communicator who can show genuine interest in prospects and businesses
  • Someone who works well to targets but also enjoys contributing to a wider team
  • Someone who is able to adapt to many different situations
  • Someone who is resilient and positive in the workplace
  • A real interest in tech and / or software systems
