The worst job I've had

I used to spend the gap between semesters at uni working at a school uniform shop. I really didn't enjoy retail and the shop was massively overrun with angry teenagers arguing with their parents... but you have to pay off the overdraft somehow!

Job description

In this Junior Project Manager graduate job, you will need to be a highly entrepreneurial individual - eager to join a burgeoning business and comfortable working on a really broad array of activities. You will play a critical role in managing the delivery of projects, and maintaining & growing client relationships. Time management and communication skills will be key, as you will be working with teams across the business, with the view to deliver world class digital products to a global client base.

Please note: You will be on a 2 year fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities

In this Junior Project Manager graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

Project Management:

  • Delivering projects on time and in budget
  • Continuously improving on your deliverables
  • Presenting monthly reports on client accounts to Senior Management
  • Driving improvement in delivery effectiveness and efficiency

Managing Key Client Accounts:

  • Partnering with a portfolio of global clients
  • Managing the seamless delivery of products and exceptional client service
  • Preparing monthly reports on account status and manage project budgets
  • Driving further business opportunities with existing partners

Support:

  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify and drive opportunities
  • Working closely with the Head of Operations on strategic projects and improvement initiatives
  • Representing the business at conferences, events or other marketing opportunities

So, what are we looking for?

  • A minimum of a 2.2 from a good university
  • Strong analytical skills, with the confidence to analyse basic data using Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Maintaining a sharp attention to detail
  • Confidence to work autonomously
  • Due to the nature of the role there will be opportunity to travel, both nationally and internationally
  • PGDE or experience in Digital Learning / teaching a massive bonus!

In this German Speaking Account Manager job, you will manage a portfolio of hotel partners from the moment they sign up to the tech platform. Using your digital knowledge, you'll be responsible for coaching your partners to find new ways to optimise their online guest experience, drive the most value from the platform and ultimately increase direct bookings. Based in the UK, you will manage around 15-25 accounts in the German region, and will have a chance to travel and meet your clients as the role develops.

Key responsibilities

In this German Speaking Account Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning a book of business comprising of approximately 25 high-value accounts
  • You will be accountable for the performance of your book and expected to meet retention targets as well as identify opportunities for growth
  • Reaching out thoughtfully and proactively to communicate best practices, drive adoption, communicate new feature releases and maintain an up to date partner health grade
  • Coaching your hotel partners on how to effectively use the platform to optimise online guest experience, increase direct bookings and revenue
  • Collecting customer feedback and communicating new product requirements
  • Partnering with the customer sales team to identify upsell opportunities and assisting in renewing and expanding customer contracts
  • Collaborating closely with the wider team including product, engineering and finance to resolve issues and provide proactive support and service
  • Attending and presenting at events and industry conferences to gain insights, build relationships, and raise personal and company profile
  • Maintaining accurate reporting of customer status in internal systems

So, what are we looking for?

  • A 2.1 from university
  • Fluent German & English
  • 1 years' experience working in a client-facing role (support, sales, account management, etc.)
  • Experience working with software and strong data analysis skills (including quantitative analysis) and proven critical thinking capability
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to speak with and present to customer C-Level
  • Experience within the hospitality industry would be beneficial

In this Graduate Strategy Analyst job, you will be joining the International Wholesale Division of the business, working closely with Strategic Directors to support business development and International Sales Team management activities. Day to day, your role will be extremely varied, and will include task ranging from running reports and conducting analysis, assisting with communications in the sales team, media monitoring and project management. Please note: This role is a 12-month contract. You will be employed as a Contract Worker, on behalf of Give A Grad A Go, to provide services to this firm for the 12 month period.

Key responsibilities

In this Graduate Strategy Analyst job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working in patronships with Strategic Directors to support in business development international sales team management activities
  • Running reports and analysing data
  • Providing data analysis of revenue reports
  • Assisting with communications to the sales team
  • Building presentations for exec briefings
  • Keeping customer briefings updated
  • Scanning the media for issues, news affecting their customers and industry updates
  • Working internally cross functionally to chase for progress against projects and assisting with issue resolution
  • Organising internal and customer events
  • Visiting the Reading office at least 1 day per week to liaise with wider teams in the business

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university
  • Strong analytical skills – you must be very competent with Excel and love working with data
