Job description

In this Product Manager job, you will be joining the product team and working alongside experienced professionals within tech and cloud services to take ownership over new product launches. Using your strong customer care skills, you will be the ‘voice of the customer’ to ensure constant customer feedback feeds into the product development. By working closely with the technical lead, you will be using your technical knowledge to contribute to testing, product reviews as well as writing user stories and acceptance criteria. This Product Manager role will develop your technical, project management and analysis skills - and is the perfect next step for someone with some relevant experience plus a real passion for FinTech.

Key responsibilities

In this Product Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Using your excellent communication skills to liaise between the customer and technical team to ensure the correct development on the product - including gaining feedback from internal stakeholders
  • Reviewing the product specifications and requirements to ensure they are meeting the customers needs - including user testing and reviewing tickets
  • Using your roadmap items to write user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Managing the timeline for the product roadmap, and tracking support tickets
  • Tracking using Project Management tools to ensure accountability e.g. Google Docs or Airtable
  • Collecting product data to ensure product improvement are made
  • Running market analysis to assess competition within competitors

Key requirements

  • A 2.1 or above with a strong academic record. Ideally, a STEM degree subject
  • 1 years' experience within either Product Management, Project Management or Product Design
  • Strong data analysis skills, able to manipulate and interpret data
  • A good understanding of either Microsoft Excel or Google Docs
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationship internally and with clients
  • Ideally to have used Zenhub before but not a necessary
  • Experience working within a Saas business would be an added benefit
