Job description

In this Graduate Bid Coordinator job, you'll be assisting in the bid writing process, ensuring that all bids are compliant and accurate. You should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and first-class writing and literacy skills - in particular, proofreading. Competency in Microsoft Office is essential together with good administration skills, and an understanding of marketing and communications,

Key responsibilities

In this Bid Coordinator graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development and delivery of all bids and projects, ensuring pre-qualification questionnaires and all tender documentation are completed
  • Drafting and reviewing bid submission content, ensuring all bids are submitted on time and fully compliant with the requirements
  • Ensuring that all proposals are formatted and comply with company brand guidelines, customer requirements and follow internal quality guidelines
  • Analysing the client’s documents to ensure the responses being created respond implicitly to the questions being asked
  • Coordinating clarification questions, forwarding to clients and monitoring responses
  • Ensuring that the most appropriate and relevant solutions for each bid are effectively pulled together from all parts of the business
  • Supporting the Bid Manager in undertaking a Bid/No Bid exercise in alignment with Sales Pipeline
  • Working with the Sales & Marketing teams to bring new ideas and proposals to the forefront from time to time
  • Keeping the bid material fresh and compelling, and taking account of advances in technology and new communication techniques
