My role within Give A Grad A Go is as a Candidate Resourcer, which involves speaking to an array of graduates looking to kick-start their job hunt and find their ideal first job.

My area of expertise

As a Candidate Resourcer I don't specialise in any specific area within the company, however I am mostly drawn to the creative industries. I get to speak to extremely interesting and talented candidates from a huge range of backgrounds, and see their incredible portfolios of work – it’s definitely an area I’m very passionate about.

I first heard about Give A Grad A Go through a friend, who recommended applying for graduate jobs through them. When I arrived to meet the team and discuss potential job opportunities, I was struck by how friendly and dedicated everyone was, and was completely drawn to the company culture. Although I had never considered it before, I knew that recruitment would play to my strengths as I love talking to people and finding out about their journeys. I also get the opportunity to work across a huge array of roles, which means that no day is ever the same!

The worst job I've had

Before this job, I worked at a corporate PR agency within the Real Estate sector. The company was very set in its ways, not sure if its something I would like to do again!

In this Digital Training Consultant graduate job, you will be working as part of the user adoption and productivity team, who are responsible for training the workforce on the latest technology tools. You will have the opportunity to work in a high-performing, cross-functional team delivering a global IT transformation programme for a FTSE 100 company. As well as being a great writer, you will need to be a confident communicator, as much of your role will involve in-person training, running workshops and participating in web conferences.

Key responsibilities

In this Digital Training Consultant graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating accurate, relevant and informative content for new digital tools being introduced to the company
  • Delivering training in-person, in-studio and via web conference
  • Presenting in front of the camera
  • Organising documentation and ensuring it aligns with company standards
  • Brainstorming exciting new ideas to promote the use of new digital tools

So, what are we looking for?

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university
  • A creative, out-of-the-box thinker
  • 6 months’ experience in a tech startup
  • Organised and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent command of English, and fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in another language would be a benefit
  • The ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced environment
  • Can-do attitude and the ability to work with little supervision
