In this Operations Assistant role, you will be joining the Notting Hill head office of a fast-growth, early-years education startup, providing parents an inspiring and creative alternative to regular pre-schools. They organise dynamic and developmental exercise classes (developed by a team of former army, healthcare and childcare professionals) for children from 18 months to 7 years old which aim to teach them vital skills like teamwork and agility, whilst also challenging their minds. With 4 different locations around South-West London, their mission is to help children develop their confidence, coordination and communication skills in a fun, positive environment. This team of exercise and lifestyle enthusiasts are now looking for a Client- and Operations Assistant to join their lovely, sociable team!

Job Description

In this Operations Executive role in London, you will be a key player in ensuring that their classes are successful and run smoothly. You will be helping to run the daily business operations, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, as well as being the first point of contact for building and nurturing client relationships. You must be diligent, personable and extremely organised as you will be responsible for organising the staff who run the classes and juggling multiple plates at once. The team are looking for a switched-on, proactive self-starter who is eager to learn and develop their career in Operations and Client Services. You must be a personable communicator and be able to get on well with children as well as parents!

Key Responsibilities

In this Client Services Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely in a team to ensure the efficient running of all classes and events.
  • Client management, creating client accounts, booking and changing classes and dealing with inbound enquiries.
  • Managing staff availability and shifts to ensure all classes are correctly staffed.
  • Office management tasks, such as record keeping and diary management.
  • Creating new working practices and processes to help the business grow.
  • Accounting tasks such as invoicing and tax returns (full training will be provided here)

Job Requirements

  • A 2:1 degree from university
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Lots of positive energy and a fun personality!
  • A personable approach with strong relationship-building skills
  • A mature and switched-on attitude
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills preferred
