Job description

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, you will be joining the sales team, with the aim of maintaining the strong growth of the business. You will be at the forefront of commercial efforts, where your hard-work, grit and hustle will have a direct impact on revenue. You will need to be determined, motivated and resilient as you will be qualifying inbound leads, engaging with prospective clients and developing your pitching style. You will also be expected to take charge of your own lead generation campaigns using a mixture of calls, emails, LinkedIn and social media in order to introduce the innovative solutions that adds tangible value to clients.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Outbound sales
  • Self sourcing leads and building a healthy pipeline to close business
  • Meeting and exceeding company KPI’s
  • Closing deals for inbound marketing leads
  • Communicating key benefits to potential customers (calls, emails, meetings etc.)
  • Setting up and running product demonstrations
  • Collaborating with tech, curation and customer service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Negotiating fees and payment terms
  • Identifying and selling a solution to the prospect’s problem in the market
  • Updating and logging information on our company CRM

Job requirements

  • A highly driven graduate, ideally with a 2.1 or above
  • Minimum 18 months’ experience within a sales based role
  • A proven track record in sales (any experience selling to retail, leisure or hospitality is a bonus)
  • Experience selling mid-market contracts with ACV of £1k - 5k
  • Comfortable being part of an early-stage startup
  • You are ambitious and a highly motivated individual with a great work ethic
  • Hungry for success and a natural closer
  • Adaptable team player
