Job description

In this Business Development Executive job, you will be working closely with the Sales Manager and the marketing team to help expand growth in the UK and USA markets. You will be handling first contact with prospective clients and being responsible for qualifying prospects and delivering qualified leads to the Sales Managers. This is a fast-paced, target-driven environment, so you will need to be able to hit the ground running to make an impact in this fast-growing tech startup.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the sales pipeline and generate leads for the Sales Managers
  • Becoming an expert on the UK and USA hospitality industry for market research.
  • Feeding back and contributing to the marketing of the product
  • Managing and utilising the Sales CRM platform, making sure it is organised and up to date
  • Engaging prospective clients on the phone, LinkedIn and email
  • Helping to develop strategies to communicate at scale to prospective clients
  • Achieving weekly and daily outbound target goals

Job requirements:

  • A 2.1 degree from university
  • Previous experience of professional sales via phone or email, ideally within a startup
  • Excellent communication skills and a sales-driven personality
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence and high enthusiasm
