Job description

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, your mission will be to draw profitable new accounts to the business; through new lead generation, building and nurturing client relationships to gain an understanding of their goals, and delivering outstanding customer service. To be successful in this entry-level sales role it is essential that you are both self-motivated and highly adaptable, as you will be given a range of responsibilities; from liaising with a variety of clients, to managing administrative processes, as well as meeting quarterly and yearly targets.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the sales team whilst developing your own sales and account management skills
  • Resolving issues, communicating with clients and prospects, and making sure that clients receive deliverables
  • Researching and investigating the market
  • Effectively using a CRM to manage leads
  • Leading generation, qualifying prospects and booking meetings with potential clients
  • Managing administrative processes to ensure that the team works to the highest level of efficiency

Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.2 from university
  • A tech-savvy individual with a real interest in technology, and ideally someone who has previously sold business lines to various customers (e.g. client device, servers, storage or networking)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Impeccable presentation skills
  • The ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Stacks of enthusiasm
  • A real entrepreneurial spirit
