As Give A Grad A Go's Team Leader, I am responsible for leading a team of four Consultants and two Resourcers. It’s my job to make sure that my team are supported, getting all the help they need in order to grow within the business, as well as managing my own client base.

My team and I work with clients within a huge array of sectors - including FinTech, Recruitment, FMCG and Retail to name a few. We are also building a solid client base within some emerging markets including MedTech, HealthTech, EdTech and InsurTech (everything tech!)

Job description

In this Bilingual Business Development Manager job, you will be joining the dynamic sales team at the company’s London headquarters. You will be responsible for selling their industry-leading software to independent hotels across EMEA, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. You’ll need to have at least 3 years’ experience in sales, be fluent in another European language, and ideally have experience selling SaaS model platforms to businesses - as you will be expected to hit the ground running and support senior management in assisting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

In this Bilingual Business Development Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiations to close and transitioning clients to the customer success team
  • Closing in excess of 400,000 in your first 12 months with the goal of generating revenue from new business within defined territories
  • Understand customer needs, building trust and creating lasting relationships
  • Supporting senior management in the preparation of sales plans - assisting in company growth, delivering company values, enhance brand reputation and increasing customer retention potential
  • Conducting market territory and market-specific research, and becoming a trusted resource for your prospects and colleagues
  • Providing accurate forecasts to the senior management team
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders - including the marketing, customer success and product teams to develop a go-to-market strategy and maximise brand impact
  • Achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis

So, what are we looking for?

  • At least 3 years’ experience of managing the entire sales cycle from negotiation and objection handling to close of sales
  • Experience within a SaaS company would be a huge bonus
  • Fluency in English plus one or more of the following languages – Italian, Spanish, French, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish
  • Someone who thrives working in a high-volume sales environment - prospecting, building pipelines and closing business
  • A positive attitude and incredible work ethic
  • Someone who is quick to learn, organized with a strong and confident sales pitch
  • Experience with Salesforce or other similar CRM sales systems is a plus
