Through my time at Give A Grad A Go so far, I have had the opportunity to work on many roles in a variety of sectors. But because of my scientific background I enjoy working on the graduate jobs that we have on in the MedTech and HealthTech sectors.

Why I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go

I initially used Give A Grad A Go to help me find a job. I got to the final stages of lots of jobs, but nothing was quite the right fit for me. When I came in to talk to some of the Consultants here, one of them suggested that I come and interview here! I hadn’t considered graduate jobs in recruitment before, but upon careful consideration I thought that it would be an excellent chance for me to develop myself, as well as help out graduates who are going through exactly what I was.

The worst job I've had

I wouldn't say that I have had any really terrible jobs thankfully! However there have certainly been some tough moments that have not been too much fun. The closest I have come to quitting is when I worked on a sheep farm in Australia. It was the middle of summer, about 40 degrees and we were working in the wool shed. The roof was corrugated iron and only made it hotter - after a few hours of hard physical work I had definitely had enough!

Job description

In this Account Manager graduate job, you will be joining the wider account management team, in a role that is both varied and challenging. With support from the marketing, product & data enrichment teams, your aim will be to ensure the successful adoption and onboarding of new customers. You will be selling the concept of successful onboarding to clients, identifying the activities and patterns that produces a 30-day onboarding, and then making sure that customers are fully engaged, and utilising the service effectively.

Key responsibilities

In this MedTech Account Manager graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively engaging with customers to ensure they are successfully onboarded
  • Delivering webinars
  • Arranging and delivering customer events
  • Running email and call campaigns to customers
  • Incentivising customers to self onboard and use the product
  • Determining what activities will ensure customers are successfully onboarded
  • Collaborating with teams across the business (e.g. Marketing, Product) and sharing any insights that can assist in evolving the client experience
  • Experimenting and innovating with techniques to ensure ongoing customer success
  • Building and refining internal processes that can scale as the team grows
  • Collecting and collating feedback from customers to highlight key issues that may prevent increased certification rate and data live rate

Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university
  • An analytical degree (Maths or Science-based) is desirable
  • Intermediate level of MS Excel
  • Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working with limited guidance
  • Strong listener with a compassionate but firm approach
  • Conversational, personable, optimistic & inquisitive
  • Can handle rejection and objections
  • Highly motivated, driven & ambitious
  • A keen interest in MedTech and knowledge of the NHS and / or procurement, supply chain and finance data would be advantageous
