Business Development Executive - Job description

In this business development job for graduates in London, you will be pivotal to the company’s success and champion their brand new concept which is set to be ground-breaking. You will be an integral member of the team, building personal relationships and making prospective customers successful. Specifically, you will communicate with potential clients via phone, emails, and Linkedin. You’ll get exposure to all of the sales cycle, and they welcome people who will bring new ideas to the table which will better the sales cycle and the business as a whole. This is potentially a career-defining opportunity. Every opinion, view and idea counts there and as an early addition to the team, you will work with founder members and directors who are driven by results, passion and skill.

Business Development Executive - Key responsibilities

In this graduate business development opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Speaking directly with potential clients via phone call, email and LinkedIn
  • Creating email campaigns
  • Attending client meetings
  • Reacting to inbound enquiries
  • generate leads from outbound initiatives including but not limited to: cold calling, network outreach, email campaigns
  • To collaboratively assist in steering the sales focus for our business to business offering
  • Preparing and delivering pitches to potential clients
  • Understanding the target market and competitors
  • Maintaining all CRM notes up to date and accurate
  • Creating strong relationships with account customers through maintaining a strong foundation of product and market knowledge
  • Collaborate with account managers and provide assistance with data analysis for business reviews, and special projects
  • Work alongside account manager & Commercial Director for assisting in product review and providing customer insights to help shape the product and service

Business Development Executive - Job requirements

  • A motivated university graduate
  • Previous sales of client-facing experience is ideal
  • A go-getter, results-driven and competitive
  • A degree and any past experience can be beneficial, but not essential!

  • Excellent market research ability with a strategic approach
