Our client is a Tech startup backed by a leading European Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager, building out a debt marketplace to help connect sponsors and lenders in the £5M+ space. They work with banks, debt funds, and insurance companies on the lending side, and professional CRE sponsors on the borrower side, across Europe. As a result, they manage a wide range of clients, and due to the relationship focus within Commercial Real Estate, there is a key need to build strong and meaningful relationships with each client. Supporting and helping onboard clients who are not always tech-savvy, will be a key part. Customer Success Executive - Job description

In this German-speaking Customer Success role, the successful candidate will liaise with clients to understand their needs, act as a technical liaison and be responsible for the onboarding of new clients. The role will involve close collaboration with senior management, affording the successful applicant key exposure and opportunities to learn. Moreover, there is the opportunity to build their own team as the company grows.

Customer Success Executive - Job responsibilities

  • Working with clients to understand their needs on the platform, and provide solutions to set it up as best to that
  • Acting as the technical expert on the platform for your clients
  • Setting up and onboarding clients onto the tech platform, assessing their ongoing needs for any more implementation needs
  • Working with clients to troubleshoot any issues on the platform
  • Creating and defining training programmes for your tech
  • Working closely with the Sales team when needed for prospective clients joining the tech platform
  • Working closely with the product and tech team to help shape the roadmap so it is updated to reflect the problems and challenges your clients are facing
  • For the right candidate, there will be the opportunity to lead the buildout of the team as we grow.

Customer Success Executive - Job requirements

  • You will have at least 2 years of experience in Customer Success roles, part of which will have been within Implementation/Digital Project Management/Onboarding.
  • Be fluent in German or (ideally) be a Native German Speaker
  • You will have some experience working on a similar eCom tech or SaaS platform serving clients online in a B2B setting
  • You will have experience analysing data or working with Google Analytics
  • You have experience working with large, enterprise clients, and also SME clients.
  • You have some strong client-facing experience
  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate would be great, but not a prerequisite.
