As an Account Manager, I work with a lot of larger SaaS and tech companies, helping them hire graduates into roles ranging from Client Services, Account Management and Sales graduate jobs, to the more technical roles.

The worst job I've had

I have been very fortunate, I've always enjoyed and loved all jobs I've held, from being a waiter in a tapas bar, working on a hog roast stall (by far the tastiest), a hand full of bar roles at local pubs or even working in the tea rooms at the National Trust. I've always chosen jobs which I love and enjoy that way it doesn't feel like I'm working (as hard).

Job description

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, you will be responsible for building and sustaining strong relationships with customers, existing and new. On a day-to-day basis, this will involve gathering key information, developing relationships as well as identifying new business opportunities. You won't need any previous experience in a client-facing capacity, but the desire to hit the ground running, meet and exceed challenging targets and build lasting client relationships in a fast-paced environment is vital to succeed in this role.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and developing quality relationships with new and existing customers
  • Gathering customer information (including budgets, time frames, specifics of property, financing etc)
  • Managing and maintaining activities within set date ranges
  • Working as a team to meet or exceed team targets
  • Assisting with identifying new markets and business opportunities
