Job description

In this Graduate Product Manager job, you will be reporting to the Head of the Coins Division, joining a small, close-knit team of 2. You will be supporting the development and promotion of the product portfolio, in line with the marketing strategy to contribute to the growth of a multi-million pound business area. You will be using your excellent research skills to brainstorm historic events to commemorate, your creative flair to design television ads and pen one of a kind certificates, as well as your analytical expertise to interpret sales data. It would be hugely beneficial if you had some copywriting experience teamed with an A level in Maths.

Key responsibilities

In this Product Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Product Portfolio, ensuring that all pricing and products are covered off. Briefing and proofing marketing materials using your product expertise.
  • Researching and designing key topics and themes throughout the year including costings, packaging and accessory materials. Working with suppliers to determine feasibility, availability and delivery deadlines.
  • Managing the product development calendar.
  • Working to become the product expert and briefing all necessary teams including but not limited to the sales team and marketing team.
  • Reviewing stock levels to ensure product availability taking marketing campaigns and previous demand into account.
  • Conducting mystery shopping, tracking and reviewing key competitors in the industry.
  • General administration.

Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a good university
  • At least a B in GCSE Maths and English
  • Strong analytical ability and an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, we’re looking for someone with the ability to tell a story to the consumer
  • Excel skills – pivot table knowledge would be a bonus!

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

  • A strong work ethic and a proactive approach
