Job description

In this Business Development Executive job, you will be sourcing qualified prospects and actively converting leads into clients. You will need to be an empathetic storyteller who can passionately and effectively communicate the company vision to prospective clients. In this challenging and stimulating role, you will be a driving force of growth, and a vital component of their rapidly ever-growing team.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will be:

  • Prospecting new clients at high volume and velocity, both via phone and email, with the aim of exceeding expectations
  • Qualifying leads from both inbound inquiries and from your own search, conducting demos and converting leads into clients
  • Owning your own sales pipeline, from initial outreach, demos, and closing new business sales, to post-sale community on-boarding.
  • Researching and understanding key competitors in the international florist industry
  • Achieving monthly new florist acquisition targets
  • Working closely with the Sales Director to learn and develop market-leading sales techniques

Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 degree from a good university
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • A strong communicator, both written and over the phone
  • A proactive, confident and resilient approach
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Someone who is target orientated and driven
  • Experience in technology sales is desirable
