Job description

In this Business Development Executive role, you will be identifying prospecting and on-boarding partners to the company’s platform. After receiving training, you will be given the autonomy to build your own pipeline and manage partners from prospecting to on-boarding. This startup’s product is free, and sales are high volume, so this is a consultative sales role opposed to a hard-selling environment. This role gives you the opportunity to join a small but high-functioning partnerships team and make a real impact. They welcome new ideas, and you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the department and make it better!

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and qualifying outbound sales opportunities
  • Qualifying inbound opportunities
  • Developing your own method to win business
  • Contacting potential new partners
  • Educating potential new partners on the service you provide
  • On-boarding partners to the service

Job requirements

  • A 2:1 from a top University
  • Experience in Sales / Business Development or in a startup
  • An interest in tech
  • A personable and intelligent graduate with an excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
  • A strong desire to work in a start-up and join a social team
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and confident individual
