Job description

In this Senior Account Executive graduate job, you will be working across several accounts within the finance and FinTech sectors, with the aim to help plan, manage and deliver effective integrated campaigns. You must have strong communication skills and great attention to detail with a strong desire to work within the financial and technology sectors, as well as a minimum of 1 year's experience ideally within the financial PR industry.

Key responsibilities

In this Senior Account Executive PR graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the account teams in developing communications strategies for clients
  • Researching and analysing the landscape of clients so you can offer sophisticated and thoughtful recommendations
  • Using software to develop data driven insights and performance of strategies
  • Drafting press releases, long form thought leadership content and media pitches
  • Maintaining media lists, features and journalist databases
  • Developing social media posts and manage social media accounts for clients
  • Coordinate media interviews
  • Developing briefs for the design team to work from
  • Performing administrative support on accounts including but not limited to drafting media agendas, briefing documents and reporting

Job requirements

  • At least 1 years' experience within financial PR or another relevant sector
  • A 2.1 from a top university
  • Strong knowledge of the financial and financial technology markets
  • Excellent media contact book for both national and trade
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Great eye for detail and a self-starter who takes initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A high level of creativity and ability to think outside the box
  • The ability to travel when needed
