In this PR Account Executive job, you will be joining an award winning and internationally recognised London-based Legal PR firm. They are ranked in Band 1 for Litigation PR and Communications in the UK and are very widely recognised for the cusses of their approach and writing. Founded 12 years ago, they are regularly asked to work on the UK’s most significant commercial court cases and offer their clients a wide range of services to support their strategic aims. You will be joining a team that also conduct targeted media briefings for international banks, international political campaigns, and international corporates. Based in Aldwych, this client helps to enhance their clients high-profile Legal and Litigation campaigns.

Job description – Legal PR Account Executive

In this Account Executive role, you will be working on a number of exciting clients in the Legal sphere. The ideal candidate would be interested in entering the Legal PR and corporate PR industry, as well as being self-motivated and ambitious. Your day-to-day role could see you writing press releases, organising events and direct client communication such as being involved in client meetings and managing relationships with legal industry professionals and the media. You'll receive training from experienced professionals (many of which started in the business as graduates!) allowing you to progress your career in the Legal PR industry.

Key responsibilities – Legal PR Account Executive

In this job your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting partners across a range of sectors and sizes of business
  • Writing and editing press releases
  • Liaising with local, trade and national journalists
  • Writing website copy, blogs and other documents
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) with clients websites
  • Booking in press meetings
  • Putting together meeting notes and feedback reports for clients
  • Ongoing engagement with media - creating opportunities and preparing clients for media interaction
  • Developing relationships with the wider PR community

Job requirements - Legal PR Account Executive

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from university, ideally in a Humanities subject
  • Good A-levels, i.e. ABB
  • Ideally, some experience in PR, communications, or social media
  • Recent graduates are welcome; having internships and work experience placements throughout university is highly beneficial
  • Fantastic organisational skills, the ability to prioritise, and attention to detail
  • Strong telephone manner and confidence with clients
  • Good working knowledge with Word, Excel and Microsoft generally
  • An interest in the news
