Job description – Partnerships Executive

This company is looking for someone to work alongside our startup team to take the business to the next level. You’ll need to be excited by the prospect of working on a youth-led project, enthusiastic about giving young people a platform, and be ready to work hard and innovate. You’ll be willing to do what’s needed to make the company a success. That might be finding potential funders and pitching ideas, or working with the team to deliver projects.

You’ll need to be entrepreneurial, in touch with their audiences, and ready to take our work to a wider audience. The team includes people in the US and the UK, so you’ll need to be comfortable with managing your own workload and collaborating at a distance.

Key responsibilities – Partnerships Executive

In this Partnerships Associate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with and supporting the other members of the team in their project delivery, which may include organising youth consultation activities, creating project plans, or writing up grant proposals
  • Developing and managing external relationships including funding relationships and business development
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Lead in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Dealing with and responding to client requests
  • Supporting the overall day-to-day activity of the team
  • Understanding the company: who they are as an organisation, their mission, and where their future opportunities fit into this

Job requirements – Partnerships Executive

  • You will be enthusiastic and able to “sell” the company to other organizations
  • A university graduate, ideally with a 2.1
  • You will be a highly organised and proactive individual who is able to work up and stick to a plan
  • You will possess outstanding attention to detail - including having a critical eye
  • You will be a confident and clear communicator who is able to work in a small, dynamic team
  • You will take a proactive approach to your tasks and know how to work to your initiative
  • You will have an eagerness to learn and get your hands dirty
