Job description

In this Media Buying job in London, you will be joining one of the most well-established teams within the business, the AV Team. This role will be supporting 3-4+ accounts ensuring efficient delivery of TV and broadcast of on-demand campaigns for their clients by the relevant sales houses and Broadcasters. The role involves managing relationships with key stakeholders from sales houses as you’ll be handling clients marketing spend in order to invest and secure the highest ROI while buying, implementing, planning and scheduling TV campaigns on behalf of clients.

Key responsibilities

In this Junior Media Buyer role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day buying and management of TV/AV Campaigns with sales houses.
  • Booking and Campaign setup for TV and On-Demand
  • Providing Clients with updates and Campaign information including supporting with the Post-Campaign Analysis and Research
  • Liaising with other Teams in the Agency and building relationships with sales teams supplier side
  • Working with the sales houses and TV providers come back with TV spots and scheduling to deliver the bets schedules based on prices, TV shows, relevancy, and place bookings of media and adds
  • Ensure all TV bookings are accurately approved on Caria – ensure any amendments or cancellations are also appropriately managed to avoid confusion with media owners
  • Providing support across the wider Investment Team
  • Generating ad hoc reports - providing data analysis to answer specific client questions

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months experience within Media Buying, ideally, Sales or Agency (systems they’ve used) media buying or media sales role, TV or Broadcaster VODcampaign planning/implementation,
  • Knowledge of the media industry – planning/analysis (desirable)
  • Confident with a numerical analysis
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Very strong communication and rapport building skills
  • Someone who enjoys technical elements but can communicate complex things in simplistic terms
  • Experiences using industry-standard tools such as Addynamix, Caria Optimad, Techedge, &Mediatel
  • Relishes problem-solving and is a proactive self-starter
  • Works well under pressure and can balance multiple workstreams
