They are looking to grow their team of 65 with an Account Executive to join their digital team.

Job description

In this Graduate Digital Account Executive job, you will be joining the Digital Team with a view to support them in strategic and analytical thinking to bring together successful media plans for our clients. The role will involve working across Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic media channels with the main focus being Facebook and Google AdWords, working in a team with an Account Director, Account Manager, and Senior Account Executive.

After on the job training, and with ongoing support, you will take full ownership of the day to day campaign builds, optimisations and management across paid search and paid social. You will be very hands-on in paid search and paid social, building keyword lists, defining audience targeting, and copywriting. You will undertake the implementation of all digital tagging, trafficking and tracking for all channels for your accounts, as well as the digital reporting.

Key responsibilities

In this Digital Account Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic Media Channels with the main focus being Facebook and Google AdWords
  • Taking Ownership of campaign builds, optimisations and management across paid search and paid social
  • Building keyword lists
  • Defining audience targeting and copywriting
  • Utilising insight tools for audience and market research
  • Liaising with media partners on planning and developing tactics
  • Build an understanding of your client’s marketing operation, from market context to their internal workings
  • Becoming a true partner with your clients and building meaningful and value-adding relationships
  • Using business pitches to up-sell additional services and features to clients
  • Contributing to strategic thinking with insights and analysis
  • Manage client reporting – collating data across teams and/or media platforms

Job requirements

  • A 2.1 degree or above from a top university
  • Some previous office-based work experience
  • Internships either in a client-focused role or in the media or marketing sectors are highly beneficial
  • Digital Marketing Courses completed
  • An excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical ability – particularly MS Excel; the ability to extract insights from raw data
  • A genuine passion for a long-term career in Media and Advertising, and for a client-centric role
  • Relishes problem-solving and is a proactive self-starter
  • Energetic, determined, and proactive
  • Works well under pressure and can balance multiple workstreams
