Job description

In this Graduate Sales Executive role, you will report to the New Business Director within the close-knit Marketing and New Business team. There is no hierarchy in this team and you can make the role your own. You’ll support on the entire new business cycle, conducting important research into new business prospects, and work to manage all of the logistics of the pitch, including coordinating designers and video producers, creating tender documents, producing data for business proposals, and much more. Key responsibilities

In this Sales Operations job in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the pitch team to ensure that all aspects for a successful pitch are in place – great communications skills
  • Support the New Business Director to manage the logistics of the pitch – a real problem solver
  • Liaise with external suppliers to order collateral required for pitches, designers, video production, media owners and other partner agencies – brilliant at working as a team
  • Research prospective new clients to provide pitch teams with intelligence to feed into the process following company overview best practice, using the IPA and uncovering key insight from desktop research
  • Creating tender documents, meeting presentations and other accompanying documents for prospective clients – you need an eye for detail and design
  • Providing data for new business prospects – we have tools and processes, but we would love you to bring new ideas to the plan
  • Updating relevant new business trackers and mailing list – great attention to detail
  • Take on the challenge of making the role your own and developing the responsibilities in your own direction

Job requirements

  • A 2.1 degree or above from a top university preferred
  • 12-18 months previous experience in a similar role, or a highly driven graduate with foundational experience
  • A genuine passion for or previous experience in Media and Advertising
  • An excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Brilliant time management and ability to multi-task
  • Strong research skills and ability to keep up with industry trends
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical ability – particularly MS Excel
  • A genuine passion for a long-term career in Media and Advertising, and for a client-centric role
  • Relishes problem-solving and is a proactive self-starter
  • Energetic, determined, and proactive
  • Works well under pressure and can balance multiple workstreams
