Account Executive - Job description

In this Media Planning and Buying job in London, you will be working in the Media Planning and Buying team, while also working closely with the Media Planning & Buying team, who are at the forefront of marketing and advertising campaigns across TV, Radio, Press and more. You’ll heavily contribute to the campaign process, assisting the media team to develop, execute and monitor media buying. You’ll use strategy, numbers, and data to coordinate media campaigns in the most successful possible ways. You’ll create and monitor media schedules and client reports, and even manage your own client accounts.

Account Executive - Key responsibilities

In this Media Buying Account Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Work in the vibrant media planning and buying team
  • Assist the media team to develop, execute and monitor media buying
  • Create and monitor media schedules and weekly client reports
  • Assist the media team in approving client budgets
  • Set up campaigns using in-house and industry platforms including DSS
  • Strategise and see out client projects across advertising and media
  • Data management and entry – using excel to monitor data and use insights to inform key decisions

Account Executive - Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university.
  • Previous experience or internships in media or marketing is beneficial
  • A strong interest in branding, marketing, technology, and advertising
  • Analytical thinker who is comfortable working with data and has experience using excel
  • A highly motivated individual, who is proactive and commercially minded
  • Excellent client-facing skills and confidence when working with others
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fantastic organisation and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly process-oriented – able to quickly understand and execute established processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
