You will be joining one of London's leading media companies, which operates market-leading social media websites to connect PR professionals and journalists in the travel industry. Each of their sites connects over 1000 PR & marketing professionals with over 3000 journalists, allowing PRs to submit press releases, images, videos and other media information, and respond to journalists breaking requests for information. They have built up an extensive client list including various top brands; such as The Times, The Telegraph, National Geographic Traveller and BBC Travel.

Job Description - PR Executive

This PR Executive role, solely focused on the UK, is divided into managing content and media outreach. Therefore, it will suit a self-motivated, driven individual who can demonstrate exceptional communications skills, meticulous attention to detail and a clear focus on working toward targets in order to achieve big bonuses.

Job Responsibilities - PR Executive

• Responsibility for liaison with our journalists using the site
• Developing long term relationships with top journalists to ensure loyalty and drive content
• Liaison with journalists to generate attendance at IMM and entries for the industry awards
• Daily phone outreach to journalists, registering them to the sites and encouraging them to post content
• Bonuses payable based on Journalist Alerts, new users registering and brands posting content
• Checking and approving Journalist Alerts, press releases, stories, images, videos, and other inbound content
• Ensuring perfect presentation of content on the site and on alert emails
• Attendance at industry events and our own events

Job Requirements - PR Executive

• Recent graduate, preferably with a 2:1 in a humanities subject from a top university
• Experience in PR or publishing is beneficial
• Ability to work under the pressure of a target-driven environment
• Persuasive phone manner
• Great communication skills
• Perfect spoken and written English
• Immaculate attention to detail
• Capable, quick, determined
• Team player
