Key responsibilities

In this Junior Science Copywriter graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing creative ideas and strategic suggestions to the account management team
  • Studying, questioning and adhering to briefs set by the Account Managers and clients
  • Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the Art Directors and the Creative Director to generate workable concepts that fit a brief
  • Allowing time for copy to be reviewed and discussed with your line manager before presenting it to the account team or clients
  • Delivering clear, imaginative and creative copy that is grammatically sound and tonally appropriate
  • Ensuring all copy is scientifically accurate and in fits with company guidelines
  • Attending client meetings and presenting work to clients when necessary
  • Giving comprehensive instructions each time production is briefed
  • Ensuring that amends are legible and marked-up on a clean layout
  • Working proactively across multiple projects and adhering to deadlines
  • Continuously enhancing your knowledge of developments within the science industry
