As Give A Grad A Go's Team Leader, I am responsible for leading a team of four Consultants and two Resourcers. It’s my job to make sure that my team are supported, getting all the help they need in order to grow within the business, as well as managing my own client base.

My team and I work with clients within a huge array of sectors - including FinTech, Recruitment, FMCG and Retail to name a few. We are also building a solid client base within some emerging markets including MedTech, HealthTech, EdTech and InsurTech (everything tech!)

The worst job I've had

In this Digital Marketing Specialist job, you will be responsible for driving prospective customers to the website through a variety of different growth channels. You will be working alongside the Customer Acquisition team, and helping them to develop and implement growth strategy – as well as setting up A/B tests, and using AdWords, SEO and Paid Social. You’ll need to have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs using traditional and creative ideas, plus experience in building, scaling and automating processes – as you’ll be expected to build an actionable and strategic plan to deliver the set KPIs and grow the company’s online presence.

Key responsibilities

In this Digital Marketing Specialist job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building a plan to deliver the KPIs set by the Head of Customer Acquisition and the CEO
  • Creating an annual digital marketing plan, accounting for seasonality of home energy solutions
  • Developing, scaling and automating traditional digital growth methods
  • Setting up A/B tests to develop creative and impactful solutions in addition to the traditional approach
  • Supporting strategic campaigns by owning the digital growth components
  • Using traditional digital marketing tools including Google Adwords, Paid Social & SEO

So, what are we looking for?

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university
  • At least 3 years’ digital marketing experience
  • Experience of scaling and automating processes
  • You must have worked for a one-off / big-ticket-item business
  • A fantastic track record in working with web analytics, conversion optimisation and A/B testing
  • Hands-on experience with traditional digital marketing tools (e.g. Google Adwords, Paid Social, SEO)
  • Evidence of being part of innovative solutions in addition to the above-mentioned tools
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive approach
  • A real interest in energy and the financial sector
