The worst job I've had

I spent one summer working as a Field Sports Camp Co-ordinator, putting on events across Suffolk for local kids who wanted to get active. It would have been a great job... if any kids turned up! Due to a mess up with the advertising, no one knew we were even running the camp.

Job description

In this Digital Marketing Executive job, you will working within the Paid Media team, and will be responsible for driving and growing both new and current member transactions through the platform. Working closely with the Paid Media Manager and partner agencies, you will be working to implement an innovative and creative strategy that will grow their presence in the paid media space. You will need to be both adaptable and personable, as this role will see you collaborating with many different teams and individuals across the business.

Key responsibilities

In this Digital Marketing Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating PPC campaigns - including keyword research, copywriting, using industry specific digital tools and implementing account tasks
  • Establishing campaign settings and tracking campaign performance
  • Monitoring campaigns - including budgeting and performance reviews
  • Providing essential support to the Paid Media Manager
  • Analyse activity and performance of all paid search campaigns and report findings back to the Paid Media Manager
  • Work with the Paid Media Manager to ensure all paid search activity falls in line with the larger search marketing and digital marketing strategy
  • Collaborating with designers to produce creative assets for campaigns
  • Work with the content team to ensure landing pages are effectively optimised for all PPC campaigns to ensure maximum ROI and conversions

  • Previous experience in online marketing within the paid media space
  • Hands-on experience of PPC and paid Facebook campaign management is a plus
  • Strong commercial acumen and a results driven mindset
