The worst job I've had

Job description

In this Marketing Analyst job, you will be helping to build, maintain and verify data using reporting systems. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will be advising on performance and audience data, as well as forecasting reports and predicting KPI movements. You will need to have between 1 and 3 years’ experience in an analyst role, as you will be taking on a lot of responsibility from the start - enabling the company to intelligently serve their teams and ultimately influence the marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting marketing campaigns and providing insights and recommendations for the teams
  • Forecasting reports and predicting KPI movements through statistical modelling
  • Carrying out reports of specific marketing KPIs
  • Developing and updating audience data
  • Keeping up to date with competitor analysis
  • Working closely with the development team to make improvement and changes to the website
  • Building and maintaining reports to monitor the performance of products through web, social channels and apps
  • Mining through huge amounts of data and extracting impactful insights that can influence the strategy for the marketing team

So, what are we looking for?

  • 1-3 years’ worth of experience working as an Analyst
  • A numerically based degree with strong quantitative skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • An understanding of SQL would be a benefit
  • Experience within a Marketing/Analytical environment would be essential
  • Experience working with data and finding trends and insights
  • Excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail
