I fell in love with the Give A Grad A Go team!

The worst job I've had

I have been very fortunate, I've always enjoyed and loved all jobs I've held, from being a waiter in a tapas bar, working on a hog roast stall (by far the tastiest), a hand full of bar roles at local pubs or even working in the tea rooms at the National Trust. I've always chosen jobs which I love and enjoy that way it doesn't feel like I'm working (as hard).

Job description

In this Digital Marketing Executive job, you will be taking ownership of the many elements of digital strategy, including SEO, growth hacking, and social media, while utilising tools including Mailchimp, AdWords, Canva, Buffer, amongst other tools. You will have a strong focus on campaign planning and management analysing customer data to identify potential up-sell or cross-sell opportunities, and liaising with key stakeholders across the business to develop and execute targeted campaigns. This is an analytical role, which will largely involve drawing insights from data to inform and shape customer strategies for all new clients across all verticals.

Key responsibilities

In this Digital Marketing Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Campaign planning and management - analysing customer data to identify potential upsell/cross-sell/adoption opportunities and liaise with key stakeholders across the business to develop and execute targeted campaigns
  • Developing a deep understanding of customers and their customer journey within the property sector
  • Defining a roadmap of activities that will acquire, engage and retain customers to ensure optimal activation, upsell and cross-sell outcomes
  • Take ownership of crisis communications, customer surveys, features updates, product launches, and pricing or terms and conditions changes
  • Owning and monitoring budget spend, and ensuring ROI from all activities
  • Work with multiple departments across the business

Job requirements

  • Educated to degree level with a minimum result of a 2.1 from a top university
  • A real interest in digital marketing and strategy with at least 1 year's experience within a similar role
  • Ideally, you will have worked within a startup or the property sector
  • Demonstrable experience managing customer campaigns and activities to drive customer engagement with demonstrable outcomes
  • A truly analytical mindset with a fervour for numbers and delving deep into data
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident and professional maturity to communicate with clients face to face, via email or phone
  • Fantastic attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise your workload whilst working on multiple projects
  • A desire to learn and work within a fast-growing, high–energy, and rapidly evolving tech startup
